Thank you very much for visiting our blog.
The theme of this blog is “Shrines.
There are about 85,000 shrines in Japan.
There are so many places to visit that it is impossible to count them all, including places that have not been officially recognized as such because they are closed due to lack of successors or for other reasons.
There are many famous tourist spots, some of which are registered as World Heritage sites, and others that are only a few local people’s favorite haunts. I love to visit such a variety of shrines and have started this blog to introduce them to you.
I decided to visit the local gourmet food (especially ramen), temples, ancient tombs, local sightseeing spots, castle ruins, sake breweries, and other places that I personally like to visit, and without thinking too much about it, I just listed them all together.
However, I will update this blog every day so that it can answer the subtitle, “Where to Tomorrow,” and I look forward to your continued patronage.
I have not been keeping a clear count, but since I have posted over 1,000 blog entries, I have mapped out the places I have visited so far. I hope you will find it useful when planning your trip.
