This time we would like to introduce “Chinese Soba ShinShin” located in Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture.
Nowadays, ramen shops offer a wide variety of dishes on their menus, making it difficult to decide which one to try. If you go to a restaurant that offers soy sauce, salt, miso, and tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen, you may spend as long as five minutes trying to decide which one to try.
If there were more than 50 varieties, I would report on such a restaurant, “Chuka Soba Tsu Tsu” this time.
Outline of the store
The restaurant is located in Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture.
The restaurant is located in Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture. Many people may think of Wakayama as a town entirely by the sea, but it borders Nara Prefecture in the northeast. At the foot of Mt. Koya, the city is famous for its delicious persimmons and pickled plums, and is also famous as the birthplace of Tsutsuka Tsutsuka.
The store stands casually along Route 24, which runs through the city. It is a store with a mysterious skill that is so integrated into the scenery that you don’t notice it at all.

Menu & Taste
Here is the menu. You may not notice it when you first enter, but as you sit down at the counter and look back, the strangeness of the menu becomes more and more apparent.
There are so many items on the menu. Naturally, there is a limit to the variety of flavors, so there are only 8 types of ramen itself, but you can add various toppings to it, and the total number of types exceeds 50.
There are a lot of choices, but the mainstay of the menu is Chinese Soba Noodle!
If you take this many items on the menu seriously, you will never be able to make a decision. That’s when you need to go to Hidariue. The best menu of the restaurant is on the top left.
Eggs, roasted pork, natto, and soy sauce. This is truly the royal road to Wakayama Ramen. Thin noodles are not often heard of, but this is one of them.
The fried rice in the set menu is an orthodox one.
By the way, this restaurant has a wide variety of set menus.
This time, I chose the yaki-meshi (fried rice) set from among these.
The fried rice is not a characteristic fried rice that needs special mention, but it is an orthodox and authentic dish with moist fried pork and egg as accents.
This restaurant is also an izakaya (Japanese style pub).
This restaurant is also an izakaya (Japanese style pub) at night, and there is a wide selection of sake in the restaurant.
The restaurant also has a side menu of snacks. This time, we chose a combination of three kinds of kushikatsu (skewers).
Chicken thigh, cheese, and red ginger. The fact that they chose red ginger instead of beef skewers makes me think, “You know what you are doing.
Conclusion
That’s all for this time.
Ramen Tsu Tsu is a restaurant that offers more than 70 kinds of excellent ramen, mainly Wakayama ramen. You can choose the ramen that suits you best from a wide variety of menu items. If Kakinoha Sushi alone is not enough for you, please give it a try.
