This time we would like to introduce “KUROSU”, a ramen restaurant located in Nara Prefecture.
The concept of this restaurant is a fusion of Japanese soul food “ramen” and “French” technique.
It is ramen, but it is delicious ramen, but it is a little different from the usual, and we will report on such a good restaurant where you can have a slightly pleasant and embarrassing experience.
Outline of the store
The store is located in Yamatotakada City
This restaurant is located in Yamatotakada City, Nara Prefecture. It is in the middle of Osaka, Mie, and Wakayama, so even if you have never visited the city, you have passed through it before. The store is located just north of Takada Station on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line.
The elegant appearance may be unimaginable to those who usually have the impression that ramen shops = flashy electric decorations and roadside restaurants.
Access, etc.
- Business hours: 11:00am – 2:30pm, 5:30pm – 9:00pm
- Closed: Wednesday
- Parking: Available
- Address: 10-22 Minami-Honcho, Yamatotakada City, Nara Prefecture, 635-0086
Located in a busy neighborhood in front of Nara Station, this is a great place to park your car. It is close to “Takada Senbonzakura,” one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in the Kansai region, making it a must-visit restaurant in the spring.
Menu & Taste
Menu. A wide variety of ramen.
A wide variety of set menus.
Tender braised pork noodle
There are apparently three types of noodle menus with no extra charge. It is strange why the chashu noodle is set in the reasonable line, but there is no choice not to order it here.
The noodles are smooth, tasty, and satisfying.
And the pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender. The dish is made using many French techniques, which gives it a different feel from Japanese stew.
The soup is also rich, and while it is not cloying, it is not lacking in flavor, and you can easily drink it all. The soup is of such high quality that it could be served as a stand-alone item.
Trio Set
This one-piece set includes fried rice, fried chicken, and shrimp dumplings, which is about all the sides you would expect to find at a ramen restaurant.
The fried rice is crispy and juicy, and the gyoza is a choice of normal or garlic-free shrimp dumplings, this time the shrimp dumplings. The fried rice is also very light and not at all rich from the oil that is unique to Chinese restaurants, but the taste was a good combination of the two.
Conclusion
That’s all for this time.
In the restaurant, there are of course single customers, couples, families, and a variety of clientele, so you can see the popularity of the restaurant. On the other hand, the restaurant itself seems to be deeply committed to its customers, and even though the restaurant is full of customers, it has a relaxed atmosphere with a sense of luxury. This is probably due in part to the cleanliness of the restaurant, which has been in operation for seven years, which is long-established for a ramen shop.
With a wide variety of dishes on the menu, this is a restaurant that I would definitely like to visit again.
